During the design process, we value your input on the work that is going on your body. Your vision is important to us and we will work with you to provide the best outcome.
All skin is welcome
We are experienced in tattooing black/grey and color designs on all skin tones, from fair to deep.
During your consult we will discuss the best options for your skin type.
Safe and Inclusive
We respect and welcome every identity, orientation, pronoun and body.
You are valid and should never feel judged or unwelcome while in our space.
Trauma-informed
Your comfort is our priority. Tattoos can be a vulnerable process and your emotions are valid. During your consult, we will discuss any concerns you may have about things like physical touch and pain.
Tattoos as healing artform
Your body is sacred, you can adorn it however you choose. Tattooing is an ancient practice & should be honored as such. In addition to self expression, we believe the experience can feel healing and liberating.
Reverie Garden is a unique tattoo studio in Brooklyn specializing in custom fine-art tattooing and cosmetic eyebrow tattoos (ombre, powder, and nano-strokes, which is similar to microblading).
Founded in 2022 by Flatbush-raised artist Kena (Kae), Reverie is a queer/woman/BIPOC-owned studio, and our intention is to provide our neighborhood with a conscious space with mindful and trauma-aware practices, for all skin types, genders, abilities, and orientations to feel comfortable, safe, respected, and confident during the process.
We are also intent on cultivating a space for local artists and creative people to host and participate in workshops, drawing sessions, family-friendly creative events, as well as hosting monthly art shows in our beautiful sunny gallery. We strongly believe in uplifting and amplifying artists of marginalized communities and we hope to create meaningful experiences, inspire, and connect with local creatives.
